Chapter 5:

They all turned back to see who had spoke. One of the teenagers that sat behind the girls, named Destinee, smiled at them all, her dirty pecan colored hair tucked in a French braid. She wore a letterman jacket of red and white with the initials “ZM” sewn on the front. “Hi, sorry for interrupting you, I couldn’t help but overhearing that you were talking about One Direction… And well, I just kinda… I LOVE THEM.” Emileigh and Payton smiled extending their hands and introducing themselves. “I’m Destinee!” She said gaily. Marisol was the only one that wasn’t smiling like a fool. The other teenage girl that sat beside Destinee glanced up at Marisol from her book for a moment and then went back to reading quietly. Marisol looked at this girl Destinee. “If your name is Destinee, then why do you have the initials “ZM” on your jacket?” asked Marisol. Destinee beamed at her as if she loved getting asked this question. “It stands for ‘Zayn Malik’, my future boyfriend!” She giggled. Emileigh and Payton laughed, finding her joke to be funny, but Marisol didn’t really understand the joke, and apparently neither did the girl sitting next to Destinee. The girl sitting beside Destinee that had her nose stuck in a book and her eyes covered by a hat shielded a snorting laugh with her hand and all heads turned towards her. She looked up realizing that everybody was now staring at her. She pointed to her book “I was laughing at my book,” she said, shocking everybody with her English accent. The girl went back to reading and the rest of the girls continued gawking over the boys. “Personally, I have always loved Liam,” said Emileigh with pride. “Yeah, I personally love Zayn. He’s so quiet and mysterious… And when he says ‘vas happenin’! Gosh I love that! It gets me every time. Plus his incredible singing voice!” Destinee said happily. Once again the girl reading the book looked at the girls with a smile and continued to read. “Yeah, Zayn and Liam are wonderful… But I like Harry!” said Payton in her bubbly voice.
